Taylor Swift is getting more political.

‘I definitely think there are political undertones in the new music I made,’ said the 29-year-old singer-songwriter, who has past made clear that one of her principle goals is motivating her fans to get to the ballot box with the 2020 election approaching in less than a year-and-a-half.

‘I’m not planning to stop encouraging young people to vote and to try to get them to talk about what’s going on in our country,’ the ME! songstress told German outlet RTL Friday. ‘I think that’s one of the most important things I could do.
