Millie Bobby Brown put on a typically animated display at the Chicago Humanities Festival, on Sunday.While on stage discussing her debut novel, Nineteen Steps, the Stranger Things star, 19, was dressed in a knitted mini dress and knee high boots.
Millie looked incredibly stylish in the red jumper dress, which was cinched in with a chunky black waist belt.The actress slipped on a heeled pair of black knee-high boots and completed her outfit by accessorising with small gold drop earrings.
Set against the backdrop of World War II London in 1942, Millie’s book – which was released last week – is based on a mix of fictional stories blended with real-life stories told to her by her grandmother.
While Millie has yet to confirm whether a date has been set for the ‘intimate’ ceremony, she spilled on Friday’s episode of the Today show that the couple are very much sharing the planning.
Speaking with Women’s Wear Daily last month, the star touched on her preference to keep the nuptials low-key, explaining: ‘I can say that the planning is going. It’s so fun. And it’s such an exciting time in my life.
