The actress, 20 – whose co-star Matthew Modine will be officiating her wedding to fiancé Jake Bongiovi – opened up to The Sun in an article published on Saturday shortly after her Netflix film, Damsel, was released.
The movie was a major success, and notably garnered a whopping 50.8 million views upon its first week of release on the streaming site, per VarietyHowever, while talking to the outlet, Brown admitted,
‘And I’m like, “How long do I have to sit there for?” Because my brain and I don’t even like sitting for my own movies. the rare occasion that she does watch a film, Millie explained that she has ‘to be doing something’ at the same time.
‘If I’m not doing something, I just can’t sit there and look at the screen for that long. It’s not to say the movie isn’t epic and cinematic and brilliant, or that there aren’t amazing performances. I love some of these actors.’
The Stranger Things star said that her fiancé, Jake, ‘is the biggest movie buff. He just sits and watches movies all day. And I cannot do that. That is the one thing I can’t sit down and do.’
Another movie that she was a big fan of was Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, which starred Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. ‘Yes, I Barbied. How could you not? Like, honestly, that would be the last straw.
